About the Game
Astral Boxing is a wacky action game centered around an 80’s parapsychologist exploring possessed buildings to discover ghosts’ weaknesses before punching those ghosts back to the afterlife from whence they came.
My Role
Producer
Along with planning all of the team's meetings I also facilitate meetings such as the Sprint Planning meetings we have with all of the Leads, our Daily Scrum meetings and a check-in meeting we have weekly with the entire team. I also facilitated sprint retrospective and sprint review meetings.
Facilitate Meetings
For one of our sprint, we were a little behind and so there were bookshelves in the main area of our level that needed books to be placed. So instead of one of the designers, programmer or Artist going into the build and placing all of them, I learned how to use the basics of Unreal Engine 4 so that I could support the team and so that one of them did not have to waste time placing all of them so I did it.
Worked inside the Build
Maintained a Product Backlog
I maintain the team's Product Backlog and made sure that the Product Backlog stays clean. I also assisted in creating new Sprints for the team along with User Stories and tasks.
Created Necessary Documentation
As the Producer, I was in charge of compiling all of the business-related documentation as well as general team documentation which included meeting logs, Daily Scrum logs, creating a SWOT analysis of the market we were trying to enter,
